Laser Nets for Delirious

On Wednesday, March 22, thanks to Mark, Fishbon Event Lab operatives added two extreme lasers to the immersive dance theatre that they perfected last week. By doubling the number of white scrims and adding lasers, they created an Ethereal World of three dimensional projection slices that changed radically depending on the angle from which it was viewed. The technology will have it's full-scale event debut at DELIRIOUS, a combined Fishbon and Clan Destino party on April 8 at Santa Barbara's Muddy Waters Cafe.

Virtual Hologram Forest

Under cover of darkness on Wednesday, March 15, Fishbon Event Lab commandos hung Virtual Forest polyester scrim netting in the Fishbon Studio in preparation for a multi-projector experiments. The result was mesmerizing as overlapping video images blended with eerie holographic-like effects. The use of two projectors offset from each other produced a shadow-free Dance World that demanded participation. Naturally, no coercion was required.

Projection Madness

On Wednesday, March 8, agent-provacateurs loosely affiliated with the Fishbon Event Lab went on a video projection spree of epic proportions. Not satisfied with projecting images on a chaotic riot of scrim-like fabric strips, lab denizens turned to Giant Inflated Weather Balloons and other ephemera. The results were bizarre and unpredictable. In a moment of madness, Elvi even insisted on Hair Projection as a suitable alternative to now conventional stretched white fabric. The possibilities seemed endless and additional experiments are sure to follow.

The Deluge, Denunciation Angel and Live in Cyberspace

On Wednesday, March 1, Fishbon Event Lab special agents in change of terrestrial upheaval witnessed the demise of Ethan's Waterworld in an eerie LED illuminated glow. There was vapor, tidal unpredictability, sturm und drang as the city and its hapless residents expired in the half light. As these tragic events were unfolding, agent-journalists captured the destruction and thanks to Alex's wizardry broadcast it to the Virtual Event Lab in online world, Second Life. Then, during a lull in the action, Sean, the Angel of the Denunciation appeared with his horn to herald the coming of strange times. While the evening dealt again with great themes and frightening consequences, the prevailing mood was upbeat and hopeful.
